In addition to the current projects we are working on (phone cards, fruit and care items ) OAVN is helping Veterans with:
- DISCOUNTS FOR VETERANS- We are working to compile a comprehensive list of Veterans discounts. (See link on left side of page.) Some discounts aren't advertised and some businesses just haven't thought to give one, yet offering a Veterans discount can help bring them new customers. (HINT: Always ask a business if they offer one. If you find one, please share it with us. )
- POPCORN- commercial popcorn machine OAVN donated to the VA clinic in Tulsa.
- DOT'S CHRISTMAS STORE for hospitalized Veterans who are not able to shop for their loved ones.
- WHEEL CHAIRS- Veterans who have been turned down for a motorized wheel chair (picture below), by the VA, please contact our Executive Director 918 231-8313
