Oklahoma American Veterans News depends on the generosity of individuals in the community, like yourself, to help provide help for these deserving folks. Since the 1980s, with the help of the community, Oklahoma American Veterans News has helped thousands of people.

Some Veterans are admitted to the hospital with nothing-- not even a toothbrush. Others are there for so long they begin to run out of products they brought with them. Maybe you have some new, unused items you would be willing to share to help them.
Sunday newspaper coupon inserts allow us to stretch donations to buy needed items. We are proud to announce OAVN'S COUPON PROJECT.
EVERYDAY CARE ITEMS NEEDED:
Hotel sized or travel size items are welcome.

shaving items, such as Bic disposable razors

shampoo (trial sizes)

toothpaste
-
toothbrush

baby powder
- hand and body lotions
- lip balm
- denture adhesive
- hair brushes
- pocket combs
- emery boards
- nail clippers
PLEASE NOTE:
- no soap--the hospital no longer accepts soap
- Ziplock bags for packaging the items
UNDERWEAR

socks, mens and ladies (white cotton, crew and ankle length, both average and larger sizes; socks for diabetics also needed.)

tee shirts (all sizes)

briefs (underwear both men's and women's--all sizes)
PASSING THE TIME
- magazines (specifically those about cars, hunting, fishing, boating, mechanics, computers, etc.)
- playing cards
- puzzle books
TRANSPORTING PATIENTS TO AND FROM THE HOSPITAL:

CDs ("checked out" during their stay)

- DVD players (to be checked out for use by patients, while in the hospital)
